Telerik® JustCode™ can suggest you to split or join if statements when appropriate.

The behavior can be controlled in JustCode Options - JustCode / Options / Code Analysis / Hints.

When "Show hint for split if statement" option is checked in the options dialog, then Telerik® JustCode™ suggests you to split the if statement.

  1. Position the caret over an if statement.
  2. Press Alt+Enter. From the pop-up menu, select Split if statement.

When "Show hint for join nested if statement" option is checked in the options dialog, then Telerik® JustCode™ suggests you to join the if statements.

  1. Position the caret over an if statement with a nested if statement.
  2. Press Alt+Enter. From the pop-up menu, select Join nested if statement.

When "Show hint for join surrounding if statement" option is checked in the options dialog, then Telerik® JustCode™ suggests you to join the if statements.

  1. Position the caret over an if statement with a surrounding if statement.
  2. Press Alt+Enter. From the pop-up menu, select Join surrounding if statement.
