IE serves different mime-types for the same files than Mozilla/Firefox - for example, the JPG files are uploaded with image/pjpeg mime-type when using IE and image/jpeg, when using Firefox.
Also the mime-type is not determined only by using the file extension. For example if you try to upload a text file, but with extension JPG, it still will be uploaded with text/plain mime-type. Since this isn't obvious at all, we usually recommend disabling the mime-type checks in RadUpload. |
