Glossary Item Box

Docking is the act of dragging-n-dropping a dockable object over a docking zone. When the object is dropped it is attached to the topmost-leftmost possible position. Undocking is the opposite process of dragging-n-dropping a dockable object outside the docking zone that it is docked to.

Telerik RadDock enables users to easily define dynamic page layouts of docking zones and dockable objects with simple drag-n-drop at design time. In addition, end users can customize pages based on these dynamic layouts. All changes made to the dynamic layouts can be stored on the server and later when needed to be reloaded again

Telerik RadDock consists of three components:

Each component of Telerik RadDock can control enabling/disabling docking on a different level.
