Telerik offers several different packages for you to choose from:
Trial licenses
Description
If you are a first-time Telerik user, it would be best to create an account in our Client.NET extranet (www.telerik.com/Clientnet) and download a Trial license. The Trial licenses are fully-functional and are identical in functionality to the paid versions. Review the Which file do I need to install? section for further instructions.
Support
A trial license comes with the Bronze Support package, which guarantees a 72-hour response time from the Telerik support staff on business days (Monday thru Friday) when the Online Support Ticketing System is used. Mail queries usually take longer to respond.

Single Developer licenses
Description
A Developer license is granted per developer seat: one developer is allowed to work with the product per license. Developer licenses have no run-time limitations and allow the usage of all Telerik controls in an UNLIMITED number of custom web applications. The controls can be installed on more than one machine as long as only the licensed developer is using the product.
License Keys
Developer licenses come with special builds that work without keys and allow the developer to safely access web applications that use Telerik products. To update your application from a trial license to a Developer license, please review the instructions in the following section: Trial License v1.x to Developer License v2.x
Support
The Single Developer license comes with the Silver Support package which guarantees a 48 hour response time from the Telerik support staff on business days (Monday thru Friday) when the Online Support Ticketing System is used.

Single Developer Subscription license
Description
Unlike the Single Developer license, Single Developer Subscription license offers a Subscription. A Subscription license entitles you to receive, for free, all released updates and new products for the duration of one year from the date of purchase. This license is the easiest and most cost-effective way to ensure that you are using the latest versions of our products. With the Subscription license you save more than 70% on Telerik products if purchased separately.

The Single Developer Subscription license is offered for the Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET suite only. Subscriptions are not available for individual products at this time. |
You can renew your subscription at approximately 50% of the original price. You will be promptly notified when the Subscription license is about to expire.
All RadControls for ASP.NET subscription holders are entitled to a license to RadControls "Prometheus" suite.
License Keys

Source Code license
Description
The Source Code license is an excellent investment if you need to customize our controls to fit a specific requirement, or if your company wishes to own the source code for all products used.
A Source Code license is offered with purchases of five or more Single Developer or Single Developer Subscription licenses for Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET suite. If you have opted for the Subscription license, you will be receiving the source codes for all products released within one year from the date of purchase.
