I'm getting this exact issue as well.  It only occurs in WPF when I have an object that I have DataTemplated with a template that includes the Telerik ComboBox.

Could you please prepare a sample project in which this issue can be observed. I tried to reproduce it, but to no avail. Please give us some more details about the object which is DataTemplated. If you could send us your project so that we can run here locally and debug it, we will be able to provide you with a solution in a timely manner.
