I'm new to windows phone apps and not sure what project type to go with xaml or html? What's the pros/cons of each technology?

Hello Alan,

Thank you for contacting us. Programming with HTML for Windows Phone is nothing more than using a WebBrowser control inside a regular XAML/C# app to display the HTML content. Since you're new to the Windows Phone platform, I'd suggest you start with regular XAML/C# apps and once you feel comfortable enough, you can explore the HTML story as well. My advice for you is to dive into the Windows Phone Developer Center where you can find tons of info and samples. In addition, I'd suggest you go thorough all Windows Phone related sessions from the build conference.

All the best,
