I upgraded from Q1 2012 to Q2 2012 using the Telerik Control Panel. The upgraded reported no errors. My project seems to be working fine. However, when I am trying to start the Demo application, I and getting a "Stop working" error. Prior to the update, the demo app used to work fine.

This is what I found in the machine's Event Log:

Application: WPF Demos.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.UnauthorizedAccessException
Stack:

Hello Eliyahu,

Sorry for the inconvenience. This happens on machines which nave turned on User Account Control.
In order to start the Demos just right click on the Demos shortcut and select the option "Run as administrator".
We will do our best to fix this problem in our next releases.

Kind regards,

Hello Anthony,

You could easily avoid the issue by giving everyone full permissions to the Demos folder under the main installation folder.

Let me know if that helps.

All the best,
