Wrap panel

Is it possible to make the layout container a wrap panel.  I know I'll lose the virtualization, but I want the on demand loading.

I'm using this to display images that are 100x100px with a 12px margin.   I'm having a difficult time causing itemTap to fire.  It almost seems random.
