Hi everyone! I am not exactly sure if the issue has been brought up before. Due to time constraints, I am going to just put up this post here, and if anyone has a working answer or solution, could you kindly help point me in the right direction?

I am currently working on a project that deals with integrating with the Bluetooth (BLE) hardware interface of both Android & iOS devices. I also noticed that no Core / Integrated Plugins available for interfacing with the bluetooth interface. My guess is, there must be a very good reason why it is not implemented. I might not have the time to understand why now, but the most important for me now is to find out how I can actually test the custom plugins on my devices.

I already have an iPhone 5 (upgraded to iOS 8.1.2), and a Samsung Galaxy S4 (Android 4.4.2 [KitKat]). I am using the in-browser Telerik Platform. I understand from the Telerik Platform documentation that Custom Plugins cannot run in the simulator and companion app. So if this is the case, how do I successfully test the plugin to see if it works?

I currently have the Business edition of the Platform subscription, so I have everything in the suite. Just putting my own thoughts into solving this problem, do I have to use the AppManager?? Not sure if this approach is right.

I have already included the plugin to my project. Now, the next step is to actually test it. I really appreciate the advice from you experts on the next step I should take. I really need a response within the next 12-24 hours and I need time to actually test it by tomorrow (25 Nov, Tues). I am from Singapore, so you can estimate the time zone differences.

Hi Sherman,

I am sorry for the delayed reply.
Notice that our forum response time is 72 hours and if you really need a faster answer from our side it would be best to open a private ticket.

Indeed, custom plugins are not supported in the AppBuilder companion app and Simulator so your option is to deploy your app on actual device where it can be tested. Please refer to our documentation where all deployment on device options are described.
If there is something unclear please let me know so I can assist you further.

I am not aware of the plugin you are trying to test, but I would say that it is not a part of the core plugins maybe because it is not so popular.  We imported basic plugins that are highly demanded by our users in our IDE just to ease their utilization as most of them are frequently used in apps.
