Appbuilder windows client as well as appbuilder extension for visual studio is not able to detect my unlocked Lumia 1320 which is running windows phone os 8.1.
Any suggestions ?

Hello Riz,
Make sure that you have Windows Phone SDK 8.0 installed (and not 8.1). Since AppBuilder does not support Windows Phone 8.1 yet, you need the tools for 8.0.
If installing the SDK does not help, double-check if you have fulfilled all the pre-requisites listed in this article:
