Hello,
if you apply the Windows 7 theme to a MS CheckBox control, the control looks the same whether it has the focus or not.
In the attached screen shot, the first check box has the focus and looks exactly the same as the second one.

We also have the same problem with Telerik Q3-2012 and IE8.

I am writing just to let you know that the issue is already fixed. When the CheckBox is focused in Windows7 theme the outer border is turned in a different blue color, that matches the rest focused elements through the components. I am attaching you a screenshot for further reference.
