Any idea how Windows 7 could be installed on i-mate Ultimate 9502? Currently I have Windows 6.1. I am hoping that installing Windows 7 will solve some of the problems, such as screen freezing, that I am often facing. Thanks.

Hello Suella,
Thank you for writing.
Windows Phone 7 is an entirely different OS. It is not compatible with Windows Mobile applications and the device you are referring to does not cover the minimum hardware requirements of the Windows Phone specification. Also. installing the Windows Phone OS on independent devices is not supported.

I was looking for the same thing, i don't think it's possible though.
Windows 7 is made for Computer, not embedded device.
The I-Mate Ultimate 9502 doesn't have a 32bit cpu, it run on ARM so windows 7 won't be compatible with it, and even if it was, i found this page giving the specs for the i-mate Ultimate 9502: http://plasmartphone.com/i-mate-ultimate-9502/
128 of RAM and 256 of ROM with a 400 MHz (ARM 11) CPU, it's not enough to even click on the start menu ;).
