Thank you,

Hello Stefano,

Thank you for your interest in Everlive.

Basically, for each project in Everlive there are four email templates with predefined text that are sent to an user when certain scenario occurs (registration, password change, etc.). More on them can be found here.

For example a welcome email template for verified accounts looks like:

Subject: Welcome to our service!

Text:

Thank you for joining <your app name>, <newly-registered-user-username>!

Your <your app name> account was created successfully.

Best wishes,
The <your app name> Team

The ‘Email customization’ feature in Everlive is used in order to change the predefined text of existing templates or add new templates for personalized cases. The management of the templates is done from the ‘Emails’ tab in the backend administration of each project .

As stated in the pricing section this feature is not available for users with ‘Developer’ or ‘Startup’ level account .

We hope that you will find this information helpful.

Hi Anton,
your answer is useful, but I have another question: can I send an email message without using predefined or custom email templates?
In other words, do I need to subscribe for "business" profile to be able to send custom emails?

Best regards,
Stefano

Hi Stefano,

In short, yes, you need a ‘Business’ level account for this.

The ‘Emails’ feature of Everlive is based on templates. It enables you to send customized emails via the REST API, but only based on a template.

Please, consider registering a developer account (the registration is without obligations) so that you can explore the features of Everlive and find out which account type suits best your business needs.
