I've got a web.sitemap that links several other sitemap files for various modules within the application using siteMapFile, or by provider.

As a quick test for this new control, I pointed the datasource at the web.sitemap and everything compiled and ran.  The only thing is that all the linked sitemaps overlay each other graphically.  I can see why this might happen given the node levels created by linking files, but does anyone know an easy way to solve this problem?

Or is there a plan in the future to have the telerik sitemap control figure out the appropriate node levels when using a single sitemap with multiple links?

Hello Cory Hudson,

I tried binding the control to a sitemap which had a Node using the siteMapFile attribute and the whole sitemap rendered as expected - graphically and logically.

Can you describe in more detail how the linked sitemaps overlay graphically? Do they render improperly or you mean something else?

Kind regards,

Well, As I mentioned, it was a quick test, but it basically looked as if all the nodes were being rendered in the same position on top of each other.  Perhaps I incorrectly nested the nodes or something.

On the off chance, do you have your test/sample lying around?

Thanks for the update!!

Hi Cory Hudson,

Well, actually I took the examples.sitemap file from the Examples that ship with RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, split it to two, put the second half on a > 1 level in the site structure and referenced it from a Node in the first half.

You could borrow a sample from here, too.

Sincerely yours,
