Hi Folks,

I am developing an app that displays a lot of photos. I'm running into out-of-memory issues on Android (iOS seems ok). Somebody has pointed me at the nativescript-image-cache-it package. This looks like a good solution for me. However I cannot see this one in the registry in Platform.

I am developing with the in-browser client on Platform. Is there a way for me to include that package in my app?

Yours in ignorance, and thanks in advance.

Hi Tim,

In the in-browser client you can add plugins from Properties->Dependencies of your app or by right-clicking on the project name and selecting Manage Packages. In both cases you'll find the plugin as an npm package in the npm tab of the package manager. You can see how you can manage plugins in the in-browser client here.

As NativeScript-image-cache-it isn’t a Telerik Verified Plugin, I would encourage you to keep track of the release notes of the package and update your code if necessary. If you find any issues with using the plugin in a Telerik Platform app don't hesitate to write back.
