Hello,

I am currently working on mobile application for my company using
Visual Studio and the AppBuilder extension, due to using TFS. I have been
having issues with scrolling not working correctly and the footer not showing.

With the scrolling, I am using a list view with around 390
elements, running under the extension the scrolling either refuses to work or
when scrolled sits in front of the header bar.

As for the footer, that just doesn't show (when running
under the extension).

The attached photos show these issues.

Photo 1 is the app running under the extension, it should
show the footer bar and there isn't anything stopping it.

Photo 2 is the app running under AppBuilder, this is how it
should look.

Photo 3 is the app running under the extension, I wasn't
able to make it scroll, it doesn't let me do anything but click the 3 visible
records.

Photo 4 is the app running under AppBuilder, I am able to
make this scroll with ease, even with 390 elements to scroll through.

The code in AppBuilder is the exact same that is in Visual
Studio.

 Kind regards

Matt Redmond

I am sorry about the double post but I was redirected to a 500 page after attempting to post.
I also had an attachment that failed to upload that is hopefully attached to this post!

Hello Matt,

None of your images made it to the forum post and we would appreciate if you try uploading them again or upload them to a free file sharing service and post the links here.

Hi Steve,

Matt is out of the office at the moment but here is a link to the screenshots he was referencing.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for the screenshot, should we assume that by "running under the extension" Matt referred to the AppBuilder Simulator and by "running under AppBuilder" he referred to the AppBuilder companion or deploying with provision to the iOS device? Should we understand that the reported problem is with the Simulator and everything behaves as expected on device? Clearing out this details and presenting us with a sample app that exhibits the problem is the quickest way to help you out.

Steve

Hi Steve - I believe the errors are happening when Matt uses the Visual Studio extension. If he uses the same code directly into the App Builder (web) IDE then it appears to work fine.

Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon,

In short, the problem appears in the Visual Studio Simulator, but does not appear if he uses the Simulator in the In-browser AppBuilder? However we did not find any indication of Matt ever using the browser IDE in our system (no account). Can you share the email used for logging into Telerik and the name of the app, so we can take a look? If you do not have all the details, it would be best if Matt posts whenever he's back.

Steve

Thanks, Steve.
Almost certainly Carole.Barron@alembagroup.com if not as himself. Carole processed the licence purchase but it's actually Matt who uses Icenium.
Cheers,
Simon

Hi Simon,

Currently the app we've found vF********e requires credentials to login and it would be much appreciated if you provide us with such and guidance which view should we use to reproduce the problem. In fact if Matt could isolate this in a simpler scenario we could look into, it would be highly beneficial for resolving this quicker.

Steve
