Visual Studio Plugin for Test Studio

Hi,

As per my understanding, Test Studio doesn't have IDE to write codes/programs like how we do for Coded UI Testing (VSTS product). So to write scripts, I need to add Visual Studio plugin and then launch Visual Studio to access the actions recorded via Test Studio to modify/add scripts in desired language. May I please know which product of visual studio is required (such as Professional, Enterprise etc). Already I am planning to buy the tool for $2499, if I need to add/modify scripts with C#, should I need to spend money separately for visual studio as well.

Thank you for your interest in Test Studio.

You have also a coded functionality in Test Studio. Please see this section in our online documentation.

If you want to use this functionality in Visual Studio you should use our plugin which is installed during the regular Test Studio installation process.

You don't need to buy anything else.
