Hi,

I am trying to install RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2009_2_826_dev (aka Q2 2009 SP1) to work with Visual Studio 2010.  During the install wizard, I selected "Complete".  It presents me with a summary of what will be installed.  However, within that summary it shows that none of the Visual Studio extensions will be installed...none of those are shown as checked/selected to be installed.

I run the install process and open VS 2010 and there is no telerik menu, no telerik items in the toolbox, and the RadControls do not display correctly in our pages.

I'm running Windows XP SP3, VIsual Studio 2010 beta, and I verified I am the administrator on my machine.  This is working fine for a co-worker who is running the same setup.

This is my first attempt installing telerik controls on this machine, and it's a fresh install of VS 2010.  I'm wondering if this is a licensing issue or something, because I tried installing the RadControls Q3 Beta, and the 2010 extension was selected in the install summary, and the telerik menu was displayed in VS 2010.  Unfortunately, the Q3 beta isn't a viable solution for us, as we use the Q2 RadControls.  The particular license I'm using belonged to a different employee, but has since been switched to me.

Is there a place where I can download and install the Visual Studio Extensions seperately?  It seems it's not going to install them with the main installer provided with my Telerik account.

Thanks,
Nate

Hi Nate,

The 2009.2.826 installation contained an omission, which prevented the VSExtensions from being installed to VS2010. My suggestion is to download the Q3 2009 SP1 one (the latest), which has that bug fixed.
