Hi,
I am getting an unsupported exception when converting a pdf document into a RadDocument. Here is the setup I am currently using.
1. Pdf file is embeded in XAP and I would like to show it in Silverlight (or show the generic 'Open', 'Save' and 'Cancel' dialog, which I have realized is not possible with a file embedded in the XAP).
2. Using Application.GetResourceStream to get to the stream. (I have checked the stream and it looks fine with lots of bytes... :))
3. Using DocumentFormatProvidersManager.GetProviderByExtension(extension)n to get the IDocumentFormatProvider.
4. I get the right format provider which is pdf.
5. on doing provider.Import(stream) i get a NotSupportedException.
6. I have referenced all the dlls from telerik for silverlight (just being safe, this is a test app only anyway).
Any help is appreciated.
And it would be great if anyone out there knows how to show the generic 'Open', 'Save' and 'Cancel' dialog of a browser for a file in the silverlight xap (NOT with a http url)
Thanks in advance
