At Runtime:
Kendo.Mvc.UI.Fluent.EditorToolFactory' does not contain a definition for 'ViewHtml' and no extension method 'ViewHtml' accepting a first argument of type 'Kendo.Mvc.UI.Fluent.EditorToolFactory' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Kendo.Mvc.dll
Version 2013.2.918.340

What gives?

Hello,

I attached a sample project using the specified version and the ViewHtml tool. Let me know if I am missing something.

I downloaded the sample project and ran it and got the same error. In my project where I want to use it I am using Kendo.Mvc 2013.3.1119.440 in MVC 4

Any suggestions to get this working like in marketing demo?

Hello again Ross,

I am not sure what could be causing the problem with the attached project and at least on my side it is working as expected. The ViewHtml method was added to the EditorToolFactory for the Q3 2013 release so this error should no be thrown for any subsequent versions. Were there any changes required in order to run the project on your side? Also, are there any other methods/ helpers with which you are experiencing such problems?
