Our development efforts were literally grounded due to issues with this Icenium cloud approach (see http://www.icenium.com/resources/forums/icenium-graphite-/simulator-stuck-at-loading), and again today and update to Graphite has prevented progress (http://www.icenium.com/resources/forums/icenium-graphite-/icenium-crash-on-update-).

So my question is how seriously can this can be taken and how can the issues that we have been encountering best be mitigated?. I'm only evaluating, and just purchased a single month beyond the trial period, but very tempted to drop icenium and just use phone gap build instead. The Telerik stack seemed better, but it just seems so unpredictable and unstable with regards to availability when developing 'in the cloud'.

(Plus I doubt the boss will approve a subscription given the problems that we have with access to the project/code/ide!)

Hi Andy,

First of all I would like to apologize about the issues you have experienced. We are doing our best to address them as soon as they popup and have already established a process to try to limit them as much as we can.

You also bring some valid points and we completely understand you. We are already thinking how to unlock parts of "the cloud" so that you can use your own local development environment and use the cloud only when you need it - for example starting a remote build.

Please continue to share any feedback that you might have. We greatly appreciate it.

Regards,
