How do I set the time line to vertical orientation? I want to display the items in columns and the time intervals should be rows, like the ScheduleView.

Hi Jan,

RadTimeline has no vertical mode and you are the first to ask about this feature. Can you please share some details on your scenario and why you need a vertical timeline control?

Kind regards,

I need to implement a screen where the user can edit a collection of Special Slots of the ScheduleView. The user can add a (ScheduleView) Resource to a Slot collection and that Resource will be added to every slot in the collection. The screen implements a preview of how the Slot will be drawn in the ScheduleView. The ScheduleView will group appointments by the Resource and draw the correct Slots.

My first thought was to use a TimeLine control to draw the Slot collections. Plan B was to use a ScheduleView with a custom template to hide the controls I don't need in this screen.

I have attached a modified image of our internal mockup of the view. This might help clear up things.

Hello Jan,

Thank you for the additional information. Indeed, in this case, you cannot use the timeline control and your Plan B seems the best approach for the task.
