I'm currently having a problem with Vertical Inheritance.  Let's assume that I have 2 classes, BaseClass and DerivedClass (which inherits from BaseClass).  When these 2 are in the same namespace, inserts work fine.  However, if they are moved to separate namespaces, I instead get the error, "Primary Key Not Specified".  Nothing else has changed, just the namespaces.  Is this expected functionality?

Hello Braden,

This is a known issue which could occur in the vertical inheritance. It has been already addressed and you could download an internal build (Telerik-OpenAccess-ORM-2013.3.1101.1) which fixes it. Please note that, in order to get access to this build the latest official release should be downloaded first.

Sorry for the inconvenience this might cased.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

That's great!  I'm using the NuGet packages though, and they don't have this version available.  Will the fix be included in the next official release?

Hello Braden,

Yes, the fix will be included in the Service Pack expected later this month, and you will be able to get the corrected NuGets as well. In case you need to apply the fix urgently, let us know and we can provide you with NuGet packages that can be installed in a local repository and used until the Service Pack is out.

I am looking forward to your feedback.

Regards,
Ivailo
