Hi,

It is possible to use the RadEditor to replace WSS blog and wiki editting functionality?  To be clear, this is WSS only (and not MOSS).

If it is possible, can you clarify the caveat in your documentation that says the "RadEditor for MOSS cannot be used as a Content field in Web Content Management scenarios in WSS v3".

Thanks.

Hello Jeff,

There is not such a feature Web Content Management ("WCM") in WSS, but only in MOSS.
Therefore our WCM editor does not works in WSS.

Since the wikis and blogs support Web Content Management, our editor can work in these scenarios.

So it is possible to use the RadEditor in WSS, but only for wiki and blog content?

Hi Jeff,

Yes, you got me right. You can find additional information in the following FAQ topic: Support for WSS3.

Right - but that FAQ page doesn't say functionality is restricted to wiki's and blogs.

Under the covers in WSS, the content is stored in a text field.  Can I hook up the Telerik control to any text field on any custom list, or only to 'special' wiki and blog lists?

Hi Jeff,

Our editor replaces all list fields of type "Note". This includes the lists with columns "multiple lines of text" too.

Kind regards,
