Has anyone tried this? does it work, and if not are there plans to accommodate it?

What I mean is 'containing' an externally hosted meteor application within a Telerik Platform app, where code in the meteor app can access the device apis ie. camera/gps etc.

Hello Al,

Currently Cordova does not allow out of the box integration and manual steps are required in order to utilize meteor in your hybrid app. You can see some guidance, which is for a bare-bones PhoneGap project in this SOF thread.

A custom Cordova plugin that should "add" meteor support for Cordova/PhoneGap based apps is also in development in the following repo. More information on using custom plugins in AppBuilder is available in the following links:
