- Create a skin called Clear in the style builder and download it
- Open the archive and replace the files with the files from the Clear skin from the Car Rental Demo (thus, keeping the file structure the same)
- Upload the modified archive to the style builder.
All the best,

You can find the Clear skin archive attached, ready for import in the style builder. If the problem with the strange URL persists, clear the cookies for the stylebuilder.telerik.com domain and it should perish.

Bad Request - Invalid URL
HTTP Error 400. The request URL is invalid.
Can you please let me know what is the issue here ? How can i resolve that ?
Thanks,
--JP
Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies for the stylebuilder.telerik.com domain?

Have you tried to use another browser? Or clearing all your cookies? I just tried uploading the last zip archive from this thread and it was uploaded successfully both under Firefox, Chrome and IE. You can also try to disable any extensions or firewalls, if you want to dig into what breaks the application for you.

A server error has occured.
We have been notified and will try to resolve it ASAP.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
We hope this problem will be fixed. Since we use a lot the telerik visual style builder. But we have a lot of problems with customizations. We tried in different browsers.
another problem is when you apply the first color to any skin, after that you cant apply another color and everything changes to blank. This is not only the clear skin but any predefined skin as well.
We tried to clear all the browser cookies and alle other temporary that, disabled firewall and antivirus.
Thanks a lot.
We managed to reproduce the error, and the application has been updated. Editing the clear skin should be working now.

"Colorization failed!

The other problem is that the preview window showing wrong skin (colours and structure). When I am import the uploaded clear skin from this forum. It looks like simple skin and not the clear skin.
Thanks a lot
This problem seems to occur when there are read-only files in the archive. We will address this problem with the next upload, but until then, please remove the read-only attribute from the files. I am attaching a modified version of the Clear skin archive.
The simple skin shows instead of the clear skin because there are no custom thumbnails for the clear skin (that will get colorized). This is a known limitation of the application, and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Same error occurs with one skin i built and zip by mistake.
I found the problem.
It's because I zipped the folder "Clear" which contains all subfolder and files for skins in Clear.zip instead to zip directly all the contents of Clear in Clear.zip. So take care of that.
To resume :
<bad way> if you {Clear.zip} contains :
-- Clear
I---- Buttons
I---- Calendar ....
<right way> if you {Clear.zip} contains directly :
-- Buttons
-- Calendar ....
I hope it can help someone.
