Hello,

I have found that even though i set the correct (german) culture on currentthread and CurrentUIThread, RadGanttView still uses a 12 hour format fo display times when zoomed in. I'd like to change this to a corresponding 24-hour format, that is used the default for this culture.

I would expect the ganttview to respect certain culture settings like this.

How can i achieve this?

Thanks

Hello Simon,

Thank you for contacting us.

We managed to observe the issue and it seems there is a bug in the current version of the control that caused the culture of the current culture to be disregarded and the 12 time format to be used. We logged the issue in our Public Issue Tracker System where you can track its status.

I updated your Telerik points for bringing this to our attention. We will do our best to have a permanent fix for it as soon as possible. In the meanwhile you can set the FormatString of the GroupTickLine/MajorTickLine to the desired format, more details could be found here. I created and attached a sample project for you that shows the described approach, hope this is helpful.

Regards,
Vladi

Thanks for your answer, i have looked at your  Sample and while it does what is described, is unfortunatly not what i can use in production. The application allows the user to zoom in and out of the gantt control which changes the visible range and visible timeruler lines dynamically based on the current scale (this is the default, unmodified gantt view behavior). using your sample code however will hard code the visible timeruler lines, so even when i am zooming out to a range of several months, 5 minute tick lines will be visible. I am looking forward for a bugfix to this control.

sHello,

We will do our best to have a fix for this issue as soon as possible as we see that in some scenarios hard coding a FormatString is not very suitable.

Again we apologize for any inconvenience that this may be causing.
