I have several projects on version 2009.3.1208.35.
The Upgrade Wizard notified me of the availability of version 2009.3.1314.0, which I attempted to install.
18mb was downloaded, and then nothing.
No error messages, but also no BIN files appear to be updated.
The Project Configuration Wizard shows that the older version is still in effect.
..........
Is there some other step that I need to complete the upgrade?
..............
Environment: Vista Pro 32 bit / VS 2008 / IIS 7

Hi Tom,
No additional steps are required. The Upgrade Wizard should handle the whole upgrade process.
After finishing the "Download Latest Version" step of the wizard the new version will be accessible in the "RadControls Distribution Selection" step. There you should select it from the list of available distributions and complete the upgrade.
If your upgrade is still unsuccessful, I would suggest enabling the upgrade log in the wizard's last step and checking if all steps completed successfully.
Sincerely yours,
Andrey

I do not get either of these options.
I follow the wizard steps, and observe 17.7 mb download run to 100%.
And then nothing follows, no further dialogs or error messages.
I don't see how to enable logging prior this, is there something I can do manually to trace it?

Hi Tom,
To my regret no logging mechanism is used during the wizard itself.
The "Download Latest Version" page's workflow should be:

The "Download Latest Version" page's workflow should be:
- Input credentials
- Download a .zip distribution from our website to a temporary location
- Unpack the .zip in the %appdata%\Telerik\Updates\{Unique release name} folder
- Make the next step of the wizard available
In your case, it looks like the unpack process is crashing. There are two major reasons that could lead to the unpack process's crash:
- We are currently using the Microsoft.Deployment.Compression and Microsoft.Deployment.Compression.Zip libraries to unpack our updates. Can you check if they are present in your Global Assembly Cache?
- The lack of write permissions in %appdata%\Telerik\Updates. I would suggest opening that folder in Windows Explorer and deleting the folder related to RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX v.2009.3.1314 if such a folder exists.
Looking forward to your reply,
