Hi,

My question is regarding the "upgrade database from model" screen.

Is there any way to make this screen display the name of the actual SQL Database ?
I think an older version of OpenAccess had the name of the db on that screen but the latest version does not have it anymore.

Seb

P.S The reason I need to see the exact name of the DB is that i have many databases with similar names (e.g MyDatabase.Test , MyDatabase.Dev, MyDatabase.Prod ) and I want to be absolutely sure that the upgrade script is generated for the correct database before I execute it.

Hi Seabus,

Currently the wizard does not display the name of the database that will be updated. The only way to see the name would be to look into the app.cofig file and see which database is associated with the connection string you are using.
I agree that it will be useful to display the database name in the update database wizard and we will add this option in our next release.
Please find your Telerik points updated for bringing this issue to our attention.
