So... I updated Icenium Graphite to v1.3 and I can see all of the new features of the IDE. That's great! Now, I want to upgrade my app to take advantage of the associated new Kendo UI release. How do I go about obtaining the new Kendo UI files?

Hi Keith,

Please note that Kendo UI Mobile differs from Kendo UI in that it is designed to work on small screens with touch input, rather than large screens with a more precise pointer input.

Anyway if you own a Kendo UI license you can certainly include it in your app and use any of the Kendo UI widgets you like. You can download them from the http://www.kendoui.com/ web site. However keep in mind some of them might not feel quite right on a small mobile device, simply because they weren't designed with this form-factor in mind.

Kind regards,
Steve

@Steve - Thanks for the response. I understand that Kendo UI is different in Kendo Mobile. I guess I had assumed that since Icenium includes access to Kendo Mobile and since Kendo UI was updated that the new version of Icenium would include access to an updated Kendo Mobile build.

Hi Keith,

Your assumption makes sense and from this version forward we would do our best to sync the Icenium and Kendo releases, so that their official release makes it in our template.

Thank you for your feedback!
