Unwanted Space After Removing Resource Group

I am using the ScheduleView and creating a resource group in code. The first attached screenshot shows the ScheduleView before the resource group is created.

The second screenshot shows the ScheduleView after the resource group has been created. The width of the days has been reduced to make space for the new group headers.

Finally, the resource group can be removed again. When this happens, as in the third screenshot, the width of the days does not return to its original value, leaving an empty space to the right. I am using a custom group header template selector, but I noticed this happening even before I modified the selector. Is there a way to get the days to go back to their original widths?
