I have installed the Telerik_UI_for_WindowsUniversal_2016_1_0113_Dev.msi binaries and now I am trying to reference those controls in an Universal App in Visual Studio 2015 but I keep getting this error when trying to drag them from the toolbox bar.
There is also a little exclamation mark beside the reference in Visual Studio.
How can I correctly reference those controls?

Seems like an Extension problem. Try to uninstall your Telerik Universal Extension from the Tools menu > Extensions. Then, reinstall it.
Best regards.
Seems like it is not even being shown.
I have also uninstalled all Windows Universal binaries from the Programs and Features and the same.
In face with all of them uninstalled it still asks me if I want to upgrade existing so something is definitely broken somewhere.
Also, I've never seen the Universal options in the Telerik section at the top of Visual Studio.
Thank you for contacting us.
We are aware of the described problems and currently working to resolve them.
In particular adding our controls in the VisualStudio 2015's toolbox (and allowing to drag and drop them directly) is already addressed and it will be present in our next release of "UI for UWP" suite. Next release is expected by the end of next week.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Regards,
Vladislav
