Evidently, there's no support for the Kendo UI scaffolder extension for VS 2017, even though this is the current version of Visual Studio. This is disappointing. When can we expect support?

Manually running the KenoScaffolderExtension.vsix file in the R2 2017 release, does permit targeting VS 2017 but warns that it's unsupported and could make it unstable. What sort of instability would be expected?

Hi Phil,

We have logged an enhancement issue for this functionality. You may track its status using the following GitHub issue and add comments to it. The issue is with high priority, but currently we cannot give release date for it. And as far as instability issues are concerned, we cannot name them as it is still unsupported. It is possible that Visual Studio may crash, so it is not recommended to use the extension at that point.

Feel free to contact us again, if you have any questions.
