Tutorial on Custom Skinning out of Date?

I've been working my way through your tutorial on creating a custom skin for PanelBar (located at http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/panel_appearancecreatingacustomskin.html) and it seems to refer to styles that do not exist in the source css file.  For example, .RadPanelbar_Green  ul.rpRootGroup doesn't exist in the file Panelbar.Default.css, which is supposed to be the source for the PanelBar.Green.css file we are meant to work with in the tutorial.  I'm wondering if this tutorial was written for an earlier version of the css files.  Could someone enlighten me?  Am I missing something?

The skins I'm working with are from the 4/16 hotfix.

I'm actually doing okay with the skinning, though I was hoping for an up-to-date PanelBar tutorial that would contain the current styles and provide explanation of the how the styles work with the style sheet.  I got halfway through the tutorial and it became clear that it was not relevant to the way the stylesheet is currently set up.  That said, I've actually been able to play around with the stylesheet on my own and get pretty good results.  Just wanted someone to know the PanelBar Skinning Tutorial was out of date. 

 

The tutorial you linked to refers to some interesting tools.  I should check those out.

The skinning tutorials became outdated with the Q1 version of the controls (due to the complete rewrite of the skins). It is rather lame, indeed, and we are working towards providing more extensive skinning tutorials for all controls. Until then, we'll be here to answer any questions that you may have regarding the skins.
