Is there anyway to persist the "Track Changes" after a document has been exported? Right now, if I turn Track Changes on in the editor, make some changes and then Save them (either saving locally using the editor or exporting to a byte array and then saving that, which I'll have to do in my project), the file saves as if Track Changes wasn't turned on.

    Hi,

Currently, the information for the document revisions while Track Changes is enabled, is only saved in Xaml
format. If you are using any other format, the this information will be lost. We are planning to add support  for export/import tracked changes in Docx format in the 2012 Q2 SP1 release which will be out in a few weeks.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you have more questions or if you are using the XamlFormatProvider to save your documents - in this case there is probably a bug in the format provider and we will need to investigate it.

    Greetings,

    Hi.

I would like to know if it is already possible to save in the HTML the comments and changes done to the text in richtextbox (I am using the HtmlDataProvider)?

I would like to save the HTML with the comments to later open it again and see the comments done in document.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Daniela,

Revisions are not exported to HTML with the latest version of the RadControls for SIlverlight. Unfortunately, I cannot tell if and when such feature might be implemented.

    All the best,
