    Hello,

I have a RadComboBox (from the Q3/2013 release) with say 10 items and I am using the Windows8TouchTheme. On my win8.1 tablet the scrolling of the dropdown list is very (very, very) slow, when I swipe over the items. First nothing happens, then it scrolls a few items down or up. When I swipe over the scrollbar the performance is normal as expected.

    Any ideas?

    Erik

We are trying to reproduce the scenario. As soon we have a statement for it we will let you know.

Please, try to download and install our WPF Demos and let us know whether the issue can observed in some of the examples there.

Yes, the issue can be observed in your wpf examples too. Maybe not such as extreme as in my app, but the scrollbar is always much faster and the swipe over the items is not fluid.

    Hi Erik,

We managed to launch our WPF demos on a tablet running Windows 8.1 Pro, but no performance issues were detected.

    The device parameters are:
    • intel CoreTM i5-33 170 CPU @ 1.70hgz 1.70 ghz
    • RAM 4 gb
Please, take a look at this article. If your device parameters are below the mentioned it is possible to experience such behaviour.

You can also send us a sample where the scenario can be reproduced.

    Regards,
    Alek

My test tablet has an Atom processor, so far below yours from a performance view.
The standard wpf combobox works like a charm on this tablet, so it's a bit surprising that the RadComboBox has such issues...
