Hi, is there a way to show the chart tooltip on selection of a data point?

    Hi Jorge,

Could you please clarify what you have in mind when you say "selection"? Please note that by default the ChartTooltipBehavior is activated when you hold down your finger on or close to a data point. Do you refer to the described action or you also use the ChartSelectionBehavior? What is the user action that you need to activate the tooltip for a specific data point?

    Hello Jorge,

Yes it is possible. With our latest official release (2015 Q2), we introduced a ChartToolTipBehavior class that you can inherit and extend in the way you like. Please find in the attached project a simple demonstration of showing/hiding the tool-tip on tap/click.

Could you also provide a simple example in WPF?

    Hello Trevor,

Since the RadChartView for WPF has a corresponding ChartTooltipBehavior, my example with little modifications could be also applied for WPF.
Anyway in order to receive a better answer/suggestion for WPF, I strongly advice to post it in the WPF forums.

    I hope that helps.
