Hi,

I have a strange problem with a page using RadEditor where I initally set the Enabled property to false in code. The user can via a callback enable the editor. But in IE7 and IE8 the editor does not render the toolbar and statusbar correctly

Note the following;
  • With older Telerik, the bug wasn't there
  • In VisualStudio the bug isnät there
  • Google Chrome and FireFox 3 works fine
  • IE7 and IE8 have the bug
  • If I always set the Enabled property to true, the bug isn't there

Image1.jpg contains a picture of the bug, Image2.jpg how it should look.

Regards

Hello Warnestam,

You should make sure that you use the latest version of RadEditor Q3 2009 (2009.3 1103). If the problem still persists then,  please, register the external skins of RadEditor as it is shown in this KB article: Registering an external skin of RadEditor.

If you still experience the problem, open a support ticket and send a fully working project that demonstrates it. I will examine it and provide a solution.

Sincerely yours,
Rumen
