Hi, I'm developing a hybrid app, when I build the project and export to android (getting the apk installer) if I try the three-finger gesture or press the menu button, the sync still works..Is that bahaviour expected?

Yes, this is expected if you have produced a DEBUG build, as the AppBuilder LiveSync feature is automatically included there. However, when you produce RELEASE buid, the LiveSync feature is excluded and three-finger gesture won't attempt to sync the app. More about the AppBuilder LiveSync can be found here.
