Trying TeamPulse with an existing TFS project - sync worked correctly but the ID in TeamPulse is sequential based on item type - i.e. task 184 in TeamPulse is the 184th task but is work item id 304 in our TFS.

Is there a way to add TFS ID as a column in a view?  Very confusing otherwise.

Thanks

Hello Bruce,

The TFS Work Item ID is visible within the Story Details overlay screen, but it appears that we have overlooked adding it as an available column within our various grids. I have added this as a bug and awarded you some Telerik points.

Thanks David -

I don't see TFS ID as an available column on the Stories grid that comes up when clicking on "View Stories" under the requirements tab - the ID field under edit columns is TeamPulse ID.

Am I looking in the wrong spot?

Hi Bruce,

Just to re-iterate the TFS ID is not currently available as a column in the stories grids.  We will be correcting this in a future version of TeamPulse.

Hello Jonathon Stevens,

Yes, this is the expected behavior because synchronization with TFS is not mandatory. You can use TeamPulse without TFS. When you start synching with TFS we map ID from TeamPulse with the ID in TFS.

You start by saying 'yes' but the rest of your post sounds like nothing happened as it was expected behavior?  So nothing changed to include the TFS id as a TP column?

Hello Jonathon Stevens,

Hi Jon,

Sorry for the confusion. The issue you refer to has indeed been fixed in recent releases of TeamPulse. The TFS ID column will now be available for selection in the Edit Columns menu if you install the latest version of  TeamPulse.
