Hello Chris Ruegsegger,
As you have guessed, the skin is a custom one - however, it's unlike the other Menu skins; furthermore, the "chevron" button on the site uses a context menu rather than a submenu. You can find the skin for the root menu group attached to this post - please note that it uses images for all its text items.
If you need a more functional skin, let us know - we will consider converting it to a fully functional skin.
All the best,
Alex

Alex,
Thank you for the skin and explanation. It is interesting how you've managed to make the menu out of just a single image file. It's something new to me that I'll have to dig a little deeper into when I have some more time.
I think this skin is better looking than your default skin. I hope you consider adding it as an official skin in a future release.
Thanks,
Chris

Hello Chris,
Most probably, the skin will be added as a custom one through our skin exchange program - that is, unless controls other than the menu get great designs, too. We have logged your request and will notify you upon its completion.
As a side-note, the big image is called a sprite, and is a common technique that increases performance due to the reduction of HTTP requests.
Best wishes,
Alex

Hi Alex, I like this skin, however I don't see the fonts on the buttons.
