We recently upgraded from VS 2010 to VS 2017 - no troubles there.
We also recently upgraded to the most recent version of the UI for Winforms libraries from Telerik.
When I create a Telerik Winform project - no problem but when I right-click on the Project under the Solution Explorer in the VS 2017 IDE I was expecting to see the newly added "Telerik UI for Winforms" menu item but it's not there...??
Was this removed? Can it be restored?

I seem to have the same issue.
I have checked that I am passing the requirements mentioned here https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/winforms-converter/requirements , but it's not appearing in either the Telerik dropdown at the top, or the solution/project right-click menu to the right.
Any suggestions welcome.

Discovered that there was an update to the Telerik VSExtension
