What is the best method for creating a custom theme in an application that uses both native silverlight controls and Telerik controls?
The concept for creating a theme in Blend is understood, I'm looking for the best method for blanketing all the components, Telerik and native in one theme. We also plan to duplicate and adjust the theme to create additional themes or at least create just a different set of brushes to apply without making any changes to the templates.
My understanding is that it is not possible to apply a native silverlight theme like Cosmopolitan or Windows7 to the Telerik controls, correct?

Hello Robert,
With the Silverlight controls we distribute the source code of our themes, this should be a good starting point.
We also provide styles for the default controls as well, but they must be applied explicitly, by setting the telerik:StyleManager.Theme property.
This is the fastest way to achieve a consistent look.
The brushes for our themes are either in a shared file or at the beginning of each resource dictionary, so changing just the colours of a theme should be straightforward.
Currently we have a Windows7 theme but unfortunately no Cosmopolitan.
