Hello, I have been using Telerik Reporting with an MVC application for a couple of years now, but noticed that the parameter field is not showing up if I do not send a parameter value to the report. My situation is there are 2 parameters, both are set to visible and both can be null.  However, if I do not pass in a value for one of the parameters, the parameter window/field is not displaying, even though both parameter's are set to visible. If I do pass in a value to one of the parameters, then it'll show up.

When the page is first loaded, there are no values sent to it, which is intentional, but the user cannot enter in a value for one of the parameter's, because they are not showing up unless I send an initial value when the report loads (which I am not allowed to do).

Hi Shane,

Please test the application in different browsers. In case the problem occurs only in Chrome, you will have to upgrade the application to a newer version of Telerik Reporting.

If you are using the old ASP.NET WebForms ReportViewer and an old version of Telerik Reporting (greater than Q3 2013), test migrating to the HTML5 Viewer that is a client-side widget - Migrate to the HTML5 Viewer from the old ASP.NET WebForms ReportViewer control.

In all cases, check the browser's Console for Javascript errors.

In order to provide you more accurate suggestions, please elaborate on the used viewer, tested browsers, and Telerik Reporting version.

Regards,
Stef
