Telerik Reporting Graph Pie Chart

Hey Guys ,

 

I have used the examples below to create a pie chart and set the data alignment to outside column assuming this would fix overlapping data labels. how ever this did not seem to change anything and my data labels are still overlapping am i missing something is there a setting i forgot to set or change??

Hello Francisco,

Actually when you set the DataPointLabelAlignment to OutsideColumn, you should see the labels ordered around the pie chart in two columns, avoiding overlapping if possible. Please note that the algorithm takes place when the labels are not rotated (i.e. their DataPointLabelAngle property is set to 0).

You can check this article that explains how to setup your chart without overlapping labels.

Yes i followed that article as well the results remain the same.I have attached two images below what i am looking for is having the data labels on the outside of the circle and data connectors attached to them is there a setting to accomplish this. i followed the three articles below and all 3 pretty much state to set data alignment to outside column but that does not seem to be working any other suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Hi Francisco,

Data point labels must be out of the bars in order to connector lines to be drawn between them and the pies.

If you need further help, please post the report's definition (code) in the thread in order to test your settings locally. Include also details which version of Telerik Reporting you are using.
