Hi,

I am facing some issues with the Telerik Integration with IE.

Here are the details:
Internet Explorer: 11.0.5
Telerik: 14.3

Problem:
I have a Lenovo thinkpad laptop with Windows 8.1 Enterprise running on it. The recommended screen resolution is 2560*1440.
When I run my tests, telerik opens IE with zoom set to 100%. However, this is very small and I can barely identify the DOM elements for recording.
When I change the zoom or screen resolution, telerik still opens IE with zoom set to 100%. I'm not sure why though.

Also, when I change the zoom to 175% or lower the screen resolution, the tests fail.

Please could you help me with this issue?

Regards,
Niharika

Hi Niharika,

Test Studio does not care what resolution you have your monitor set to. If 2560*1440 makes the text too small then I recommend lowering it to something readable.

However Test Studio does require that the browsers resolution be set to exactly 100% and the Display (aka DPI) also be set to exactly 100% as shown in the attached screen shot. Test Studio requires these settings to be at 100% because the calculations for mouse coordinates to click on assume that both are set to 100%. If these are not set to 100% the screen coordinate calculations will come out wrong causing mouse clicks to click at the wrong point, which obviously will make your test fail.
