Telerik Grid and other controls not rendering correctly in latest IE 11 version 11.0.38

Hi,

 

we are using Telerik asp.net AJAX's 2014.1.225.40 version.  We noticed that in the latest version of IE 11 (11.0.38) some of grid's functionalty not working correctly . We have grid with frozen columns , but columns are not lining up . PFA attached image.

First of all, if we update Telerik's version should it fix this issue? if yes, We don't want to update Telerik's latest version as it will require a lot of testing on whole website.Please suggest the version latest than 2014.1.225.40 but  with less changes and require minimum testing.

or if we can fix it by updating something on web server , we are using IIS 7.5 or higher.

Please advise.

Hi,

Since the issue is observed in IE, please ensure that the browser is not using Compatibility Mode. This mode is not supported by the controls as it is using IE7 render mode.

With that said, the version of the controls you are using is rather outdated and it is possible to see distorted appearance or unexpected behavior when using recent browsers.

I would recommend upgrading the components to the latest version. The controls in it are tested with the current versions of the browsers and are working as expected. The last released version is 2016.3.1027

Thanks Victor. We found that user had added site as compatibility view and that was causing issue.
