We have developed the application on Windows 7 and it comes by default with IE 8. We tested the application first time on IE 7 and all the look and feel changed completely.

The grid is not being displayed properly, it's all distorted

Please advise asap

Hi Dennis,

Based on the information provided I'm not able to isolate the root cause of the problematic behaviour you are facing. It is unexpected to get different behaviour in different browsers. Could you please elaborate more on what are you trying to implement? A concrete scenario with some aspx code would facilitate us to give you a more straight forward solutions for your problems.

All the best,

I also have the problem, that a web application that used to work on Internet Explorer 7 (albeit a bit slow), does no longer render correctly on IE7, with Q3 2012.
Works fine on IE 9 and various versions of Firefox.

Hi Erwin,

Could I kindly ask you to open a formal support ticket and send us a sample project which demonstrates the issue? Thus we could investigate the problem more thoroughly and do our best to provide a proper solution.

Kind regards,

I will, when I have time. The app is quite complicated with multiple databases etc, and I have not found out the problem so far. Looks like some problems with the form decorator textboxes and buttons.

Is there an answer/fix to this issue? Some of us are facing similar issues, and would like to know the resolution.

Hi Steven,

the problems discussed in this thread are fixed with the latest releases (after November 7 2012) of the ASP.NET AJAX suite.
If you experience some problems with IE7 and newest versions of the controls, it's probably best to open a new thread or bug report.

Regards
Erwin
