I have a question about using the RadControls in an ASP.NET MVC application in a cloud site.  Do you know if there are any issues I should think about?

I'm launching a new portal in December that uses a few of the controls like the RadEditor and I'm thinking about using the Rackspace Cloud and I just wanted to make sure there were no known issues before signing up with them.

Thanks,

Hello King,

Currently I am not familiar with any problems related to RadControls in an ASP.NET MVC application hosted using Rackspace cloud.

Nevertheless I will suggest you verify that they really can support ASP.NET MVC and all .NET 3.5 features. You can also review our new components build especially to work in ASP.NET MVC environment.

You can also review this blog post which explains how to use RadControls in ASP.NET MVC.

All the best,

Georgi,

I just spoke to Rackspace and they do have 3.5 installed as well as ASP.NET MVC v1.0 assemblies.  He gave me a trial code so I will probably test it to make sure.

I just thought I'd ask.

Thanks.
