Oftentimes you have a task that cannot be started until another task is finished. Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to create task dependency in TeamPulse other that setting task priorities. You can create a relationship between work items, but (1) you cannot do it on Tasks, and (2) such relationship does not constitute a dependency, at least not in a constraining way. Please add a way to add task dependency (potentially, dependencies between User Stories as well).

We've had similar requests to improve how relationships work.

For example:
http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/8/Feedback/Details/38007-when-you-have-an-item-dependant-on-a-resource-other-items-depending-on-that-reso
http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/8/Feedback/Details/574-bug-dependencies-relations-feature

What you suggest also makes a lot of sense and we have to think about how it can be done, so it is usable and useful.

For now I can suggest for you to go and submit it to our feedback portal so we can gauge the interest of other TeamPulse users regarding such functionality.

Thank you for the suggestion and the use case.
